Hello,

If you have the space, bacup the entire AuctionWatch folder within the Program Files folder so you don't have to download all of your images again.

Otherwise, if space is an issue, copy over just the batch and data folders. That will save your batches and inventory for you.

HI,

Thanks,
I decided to just do a sync...
I saved the other folders just in case but I think I have everything...
will the sync have everything that thats in the auctionwatch folders?
so I can delete the folder.

By the way when will I be able to put items in ebaystores using auction watch?

Thanks
R

Hi rostaf,

Batches and inventory do not synchronize. Those are kept offline only. Synchronizing will not return your AMPro to how it was on your old computer. You will need to copy those folders directly.

We do not have an ETA for eBay Store compatibility.

Hello Ronan,

Assuming you already did the batches folder (that one was pretty simple) you can move the inventory over by taking the inv.dat file from the Data folder in your old copy and placing it into the Data folder in your new copy. (saying yes to replace the existing file.)

Chris,

I think this may work for me also and would like your thoughts on it.

Now that I have my new online User ID and still have my old User ID, I would like to preserve the image files and the batch files if possible.

Can I copy my image and batch files to a safe location on my hard drive (the CyberCEO200 AmPro login) then change my offline User ID and password to match my new online User ID and password (RetroBargains) and then synchonize to make on/off line match; next I would copy the saved image and batch files back into their respective AmPro folders.

Would this work to keep my existing eBay auctions linked with their images? (everything at eBay now shows my new User ID, including my old auctions that are using these images).

Has this been done before? And if not, I'll probably try it anyway at my own risk and let you know how things went.
