I did the new up date and it killed norton antivirus.. netscape... eudora... and am ampro...
it said that my mscvt.dll was missing... I noticed that a newer version of that came with the update..... so I used a copy of the older mscvt.dll and put it back in my system folder where it disappeared from and got netscape and norton back... reinstalled ampro and got it back...
and now my eudora is dead dead dead... it says that this ....
msvc60.dll is linked to missing export msvcrt.dll-??_U@YAPAXI@Z
I reinstalled eudora three times and it keeps giving me the same error message along with A DEVICE ATTACHED TO THE SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING>> I use roadrunner and netscape comes up so it can't be a device....
HELP>>>>> this email program has ALL my Ebay info in it... I need it back! I uses win 95 4.0095B

Hi plentyold,
Please update your Internet Explorer installation to version 6.0, even if it is not your usual browser. This should help clear any conflicts between Windows system libraries.
If you still have problems afterwards, please go to the Windows Update site (you can reach it by clicking Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Check any updates which are available for your machine, especially Service Packs and device drivers.
