Two parts to this one. I think the first problem is addressed at least in part, in a very long exchange already, but I get lost reading all the replies:
1. Ever since I downloaded and started using 4.0, the program often shuts down in the middle of creating a batch file. I get the error message that an illegal operation has been performed and AWP is shutting down. Never had this with previous versions. I run Win ME on a PIII 800Mhz processor and have 256MB RAM. Is there a fixable bug in this new version of AMP????
2. I have a lot of active images (usually between 3500-4500 at any given time). Each time AMP shuts down (see above) and I have to restart, it goes through "initializing images" which takes several minutes. Now I can understand during the synchronization process that the images on my hard drive and the images at the web site need to be compared and updated so they match so why the wasted minutes "initializing images" each time I load the program?? I'm only going to be working with the most recent 40 or 50 NEW images that I want to put in the batches I am creating. Why do I have to sit and wait for several minutes while the software is initializing old images? Can't this part all be done during the synchronization process (when I can just walk away and do some other stuff??)

Hi Jaymark9,
When you get the illegal operation message, what does it say? If you can please copy and paste the message in a post back to us. Have you tried any of the workarounds presented in the thread you were reading before?
Regarding your images inquiry -- there is unfortunately no way to bypass the image initialization.
