I updated to Sales Manager Pro 4.0 and it absolutely will not work. The program locks up every time I try to use it. I have e-mailed customer service several times and have followed their instructions and it still won't work. It erased my default settings and every time I try to re-set them the program locks up. When I tried to do listings without re-setting them I got "A Fatal Exception (6:INVALID OPCODE) occured at 0157:00058B2" error message when I tried to browse categories. I need to get this program to work or I need to know how to get back to the non-improved Auction Manager Pro program that actually worked.

Just saw your concern .... just a fellow ebay seller here and I have no idea on how much you know about computers! ( I am no expert that's for sure )
Did you by chance reboot your computer after installing the new version ?? Need to do or usually won't work right.
Also , by chance did you have an anti virus running while uploading instead of disabling it? I know mine has caused me problems with new uploads if I forgot to turn it off until after upload.
Just a thought and trying to help
If you still get errors afterwards, please go to the Windows Update site (you can reach it by clicking Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Check any updates which are available for your machine, especially Service Packs and device drivers.
