Am I the only one that is having problems with my synchronize button?? When I first open up SMPro it would come up with the box to auto-synch and I would click on yes. Then it would auto-synchronize and show everything as it was progressing. When that finished, then it would open up the new batch box. Well, now when I open up SMPro, it comes up with that box still to auto-sync, and I click on yes, but it doesn't synchronize any more. It just immediately opens up my new batch box. I have also clicked on the synchronize button on the top left, but nothing happens there either. I am using version 4.0 (build 0971). I have uninstalled and re-installed. I don't use internet explorer, I use AOL's browser, and always have. I have closed down my computer several times, no difference. Any help or suggestions?? Thanks everyone.

No, just the one installation.

Yes. Because I have to already be conected to the internet, or it would never synchronize. If I would click to synchronize first before signing on, when it signed on it would kick out of SMPro. So I always had to make sure to be signed online first.

Hi Roberta,
I understand that the synchronization worked before on this very same computer; also, I'm assuming that you have always been using AOL for Internet access. Has AOL changed something lately, was there an update to their libraries, which might have triggered the inability to synchronize SMPro?
I would suggest upgrading to Internet Explorer 6.0, even if you are not using it, because this will update many of the system libraries used for Internet connections and might help clear any conflicts.

Please click on the 'Details' button when synchronizing and check at what point during the process you get the failure; also, please let us know what is the exact error message.

I deleted all of the files locally and resynched. I tried to upload an auction and this is the detail of the upload.
Start updating saved templates.
Local saved templates updated.
Start updating images.
Downloading Image '696371228.jpg'.
Saving image '696371228.jpg' locally.
Uploading Image 'DEHP311187.jpg'.
Error on image synchronization.
Number of successful listing uploads: 0.
Synchronization failed -
There is a problem with images synchronization.
Please go to www.AuctionWatch.com and check your images.

Hi selzitall2,
Please check if there is anything special about this image named 'DEHP311187.jpg', as it might have a bad file format. Can you upload it using the online Sales Manager - Manage Images tab? If not, please remove it from the SMPro image album and try to synchronize again.

Am having same problem where getting message go to Auction Watch and check images but can't synch or upload auctions. Using Internet Explorer on Compac computer with DSL connection so suspect something within AW. This morning when uploaded images red x's came up on number but when check within AW all the images show up. HELP - can't launch anything from within AMPRO.

Yes, the synchronization worked before, and on this same computer. This is the only one that i've had SMPro on. We've always been using AOL as our internet access as well. I spoke with AOL after I read your comments and they say they have changed nothing (and nothing in their libraries) for several months now. So that shouldn't be the cause. I will go ahead and update to Internet Explorer 6.0 and see if that changes anything. Our connection here is very slow, so it will take a couple hours to download the 6.0. When I am done with it, and install it, and check to see if SMPro works then, i'll post another thread for you to see what is happening then.
I probably should post this in another section, but I didn't want to get too many threads going and get confused on what i'm doing. I'm also having another problem with SMPro. I open up my inventory, then highlight an auction to edit, click on edit, and it tells me that it's done an illegal operation and shuts SMPro down. I re-started my computer several times, no luck. Every time I open up the inventory, highlight an auction to edit, click on edit, and it still tells me that it's done an illegaloperation and shuts SMPro down again. :::pout::: I am headed to download and install I.E. 6.0. I won't open up SMPro until after the I.E. 6.0 installation is complete and working. Then i'll open it up and see if either the synchronization works then, or if the above editing problem has gone away. I'll post then as to what is happening.

I deleted all of my local images and synchronized the images, and that went fine. Now when I try to upload an auction it errors out on another picture. I have two machines that we list with, and the other one does fine.
Let me know what to try.

Well, i'm finally done with the Internet Explorer download and installation. However, when I went their to upgrade to 6.0, the screen said, "click here to upgrade to I.E. 6.0" and that's where I clicked. When it was all done, it had downloaded and installed I.E. 5.5 actually. The good news is :::knocking on wood::: it's currently working. I opened up SMPro and clicked 'yes' to synchronize and it worked. Then I opened up my inventory and highlighted an auction to edit and clicked edit, and it worked too. Woohoo, so far so good on both problems I was having. (Even though it gave me 5.5 instead of 6.0). It takes forever to download, so i'm hoping it will keep working with 5.5 and I won't have to try again for 6.0.
Thanks for your help, and please keep your fingers crossed it will continue to work for me.
(Now i'm headed to see if I can actually launch auctions and that will work).
