Why can't I set up a spread sheet with all the feilds like my inventory has, and auction sites have and just import that in? It seems I can only import select feilds then have to go through each on one by one and modify them there instead of on a spreadsheet.

Also could I make a suggestion to figure out a better way to do catagories. I went through 250 items for ebay catagories then when I made a batch for my store I had to re-catagorize them again. Can these be linked? Or at least have all that information in the invetory screen so that it can be stored and then when you make a batch you only have to choose the quanitity.

Also when are the ebay motor catagories not able to be set in your invetory, you can only do this when you make a batch file?

I really like the offline ability and management this ttol offers but I think we can all do better to improve it.

One last thing, what is auctionwatch doing to push people back to our online stores. I had an ebay store but that cost 50/month, and with using your tool it get one for 40/month. But I want to know is it best to have both stores? And if I did have both stores when would it be possible for SMPro to add inventory to my ebay store and AW store?

Hi Eaglewolf,

Are you asking about exporting? If so, I answered you in your other thread about this.

Regarding your category question, you could use the Profile Manager (found in the Edit menu up top) and create profiles with preset templates and categories that you can apply to specific items. This would prevent you from having to do a category search each time.

Unfortunately I do not know when eBay Motors categories in pro will be integrated with inventory.

Regarding stores -- we are working on many improvements and upgrades for stores that will be available soon. It is up to you if you want to have both stores. You can upload to your AW store right now using Pro -- you would just select "My Storefront" after choosing to do a new listing.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya
I was reading this thread because I had a question about exporting also. Is anyone at acution watch considering this?
When you are going to upload 1000s of items to inventory and sometimes need to go back and edit, doing the data entry in two places just leaves you open for multiable errors. Inventory is the most difficult to keep in order and anything and everything aw can do to help would be very appreciated!
Thank you
Paula
