It never fails. Every auction I have 5 to 10 people who say they didn't get any check-out instructions. Sure some people lie, but most are not. I have followed Auctionwatch's instructions on this process. But still I have to waist valuable time each week writing emails and getting shipping totals. I am paying for this service. I expect it to work right.

Hi Sejohns,
For the people not receiving the instructions, do you notice any similarities in their ISPs? Out of your closed auctions, which ones are you referring to?

Hi Sonya, Here are some of the auctions that did not receive checkout instrucions. I completed the buyer information on many of my auctions so that I can print a packing slip. It will be hard to tell by just looking who did not receive a letter.

I have noticed the same problem but most of the buyers are using the infamous AOL which is well known to block excess mail from specific high volume sources, including Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and more than likely here too. In the last two weeks my only customers that didn't receive my WBN have been on AOL.

Hi
I've experienced the same problem but was told I must have done something incorrectly. I know I didn't and it is "good" to hear others are experiencing the same problems! I haven't noticed specific addresses but will start watching for it.

The problem is, if you get a bad customer who is just looking to pick a fight this can be the catalyst that sets them off. There are some people you just want to sell them their stuff and get RID of them.

It's AOL, as far as I can see. Invariably, my AOL customers claim they didn't get the WBN. It is a royal PITA to have to email them again and insert their info manually. I rue the day I get one of the aforementioned "bad customers" who happens to be on AOL and spoilin' for a fight. It ain't gonna be pretty...;(

Hi Sejohns,
For those that didn't receive the WBNs that aren't AOL, try altering the subject title for the WBN again (and maybe the WBN text to let them know you are sending it a second time in case the first didn't go through) and send the WBN again manually. We are currently looking at the new problems with AOL customers not receiving the WBNs.

Hi Shething,
Best thing to do if you get an unfriendly customer is to be overly kind, give them what ever they want & get rid of them. You have more at stake then they do (i.e. your reputation).
