I'm still having the same problem trying to change the top portion of the auction where it says payment options and shipping options in red under High Bidder.
Last fall or so AW said eBay controlled all of the top portion when I asked why when I choose Buyer pays actual shipping, it is always changed to buyer pays all shipping charges (alluding to extra charges). eBay claims AW controls it in their listing form. I told them there is nothing anywhere on the form to change that. The only place on the AWPro form to enter payment & shipping is for managing the checkout or WBN preferences. AW said eBay was changing it to buyer pays all shipping after some upgrades. Also interesting that auctions listed same day and within hour of each other have different messages in that area an they were new auctions, not from pending.
I just want to know where to go to correct this section and eBay claims to have no idea where that information comes from and wants Auction Watch to call them because they do not use AW and are not familiar with the form! Jeff D.G. was the last one to try to help. They asked about a copy of the form & auction but I tried loading the new AMPro and it stopped in the middle and now the program is gone, I get error message when I try to bring it up. I don't think it will copy anyway.
I'm particularly concerned because the shipping wording looks like there are hidden charges and since the payment only lists MO & cashiers checks instead of including PayPal and c2it, I've received two messages from people saying they passed on my auctions because I only take MO. When I told them the others were listed in description they said they didn't have time to scroll each auction.
I have checked global preferences, eBay preferences, edited WNB, AWPro preferences and listing defaults, etc. I will never understand why there needs to be so many different forms to do the same thing and no pop up when you need it to remind you to change all the others. None of them control this top portin of the auction.
