I just used the download link and downloaded the 4.2. I saved it to program files Auction Watch. It gave me a complete download message. I then rebooted. When opening up my Sales PRO MGR, I get the same gray box popping up asking to update. I tried pressing from that point to update, nothing, still a run time error. Did I save this download to a wrong file? thanks for your assistance.

Go to the location you downloaded the file to and double click on the icon to run the installer. Downloading it to the AuctionWatch or Program Files directory will not cause the update to be ran or installed.
Once you run the installer for this from the location downloaded, you should have the new 4.2 ready to use.
