I haven't upgraded from SMPro 3.75 to the new 4.2 version yet as I'm reluctant to "fix something that ain't broke" for me. I would like information on the feature regarding the new postal rates. Is that calculated in the listing somehow? I've noticed other auctions were the seller lists their zip code and the buyer can enter their zip and the postage is calculated right there. Does yours work that way? I tried searching the information you have available but can't seem to find my answer. Would appreciate your help. Thanks.
The new calculated rate is calculated during the post sale process. If the winner chooses that as their shipping option, when they enter in their address, the shipping amount is automatically calculated based on what they enter for their zip code. Some sellers are able to get their hands on a rate calculator and insert them into their auctions so people can configure their shipping beforehand -- you would need to search the internet for the HTML for one of those.

I am one of the sellers who has the calculator in my ads. The problem I am having now is that I am getting e-mails from customers saying that the checkout does not allow them to enter the shipping charges or preferences. I attempted to edit the response page and I cannot enter the charges either. Now I will have to e-mail all the customers with their shipping charges.

Hello maudit1,
In order to change the shipping amount you have entered, you will need to uncheck step 1 (and 2 if your buyer has responded) in post-sale, and edit the WBN. After you have entered your new shipping amount, you can resend the WBN to your buyer.
