I want to sell items that are different from what I normally sell on E-Bay. I have tried to add a new default setting on AM and I can't add any new default settings. I want to download the AM 3.75 to another folder on my computer. I am not going to change my user ID on E-Bay or payment settings, just the default listing information. Is this the best way to go?
I am still using the 3.75 version because downloading the AMPro 4.0 crashed my hard drive and it cost $180 to repair. I can't have this happen again, so I would like to stick with the "tried and true" version until all the bugs have been worked out of the newer programs.

Hi mauibabbe,
What specific default settings are you trying to change? There should be an easier way to change these for a few auctions than installing a whole separate version of SM Pro.

Hi Diana,
Thanks for replying. It is under Listing Options, Default Listing Text. It tells about the Avon products that I sell. I have tried to use set new default listing text for non-Avon items, but when it synchs, it changes it permanently. I have other household articles to sell that aren't Avon, hence the need for changing the text in only some of my auctions.

Hi mauibabbe,
You might want to list your non-Avon items in a separate batch, and change the default text for this batch (store both versions in a Word document so that you can easily change it back.) Once you have listed this batch, you can revise the default text again to reflect your Avon items.
