I have been trying to update to the new version of Auction Manager Pro for over a week now and I keep getting an error message. I appears to download, then tells me I will have to reboot and asks me if I want to reboot now. When I click yes, the prompt goes away, but my system does not reboot. When I reboot manually, I get an error message that says that there was an error while updating my files. I seem to remember having this same problem when the last version before this one came out. What's the deal? How can I get the update to download correctly?

Hello,
Indeed, if you are experiencing problems using the update feature for SMPro, we suggest that you uninstall your current version and download the full installation of the new version.
In order to uninstall the current version, you will have to use the Add/Remove Program wizard in Windows. You can download version 4.2 here:
When asked, please choose to save the file to disk. Then, install the downloaded kit to the same location on your hard drive as the previous SMPro version. Please be sure that all applications running in your PC are closed when reinstalling the software.
