All my auctions that ended tonight had shipping as $3.85. I use fixed shipping on my auctions and most are between $4.90 and $5.50. I always put the shipping amount in on each individual auction, and I've never had this problem before. Can you tell me what I've done wrong. I went into my global preferences and the shipping amount there is 0.

TIA,
Danna

Hello,

I checked over your recently ended auctions, but all of the ones I checked were showing $5.05 for the only shipping options.

Have you already gone in and edited all of these listings?

If so, where did they come from? Were they new auctions, or listed via inventory?

They are new auctions. No I didn't edit anything, except to turn off the auto WBN. When my WBN's we're sent out on those recently closed auctions, the shipping amount was $3.85. When you say you checked the closed ones, where did you check them?

Hi Danna,

Do you want your shipping to be $3.85 or the amount you are choosing prior to sending the WBN (the $5.05 amount)? I'm not sure which is the correct amount.

No I don't want my shipping to be $3.85. My shipping is entered on each auction according to its weight in SM Pro. I have my WBN sent automatically. I've always done it this way, and haven't changed anything recently. I think the best solution is to not use the WBN. The auctions themselves showed the correct amount in the auction template, but when the auto WBN went out, the shipping was $3.85, and I have the shipping set for 0 in my global preferences.

Hi Danna,

Actually you can still use the WBN, what happened was you have your default WBN set up with some prices that probably pertained to one auction previously, but do not apply to all. Go to your My Account tab and click on Post Sale Management Options. You'll see there in the WBN email what I am referring to (where the $3.85) is. If you just remove that text, you should be fine.

Okay, now I see what I did. If I put the shipping identifier in there what will happen? Will it take the amount I enter from SM Pro and put it there, or do I have to manually send the WBN, and modify each auctions shipping amount?

Thanks for your help,
Danna

Hi Danna,

The shipping identifier just inserts the shipping carrier, it does not insert the price. There is no identifier for the price.

Sonya
