From the outset, even from your old version, it is prone to locking computer up while going between screens in SM Pro. Nothing is more frustrating than having 4 auctions in a batch, your program freezes have to restart and the batch is gone. I am sure I am not the only one having this problem. Image synch is a dicey situation as well, but have removed the .map files as others have had to do.
My main concern is SM Pro freezing while typing listings or causing a fatal error locking up my computer on synch and wasting hours of work. I have Win 98 and AOL as does over half the world- there is no excuse. Guide me through how to make the adjustments so this does not happen.
Windows 98 is indeed less adept at managing system resources. Please try the following:
1. Go to the Windows Update site (you can reach it by clicking Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Check any updates which are available for your machine, especially Service Packs and device drivers.
