OK I need help!! I have items in my storefront inventory and I want to take some and list on ebay or ebay motors as either a single or dutch auction. How is this done? Do I need to create a new item listing just for auctions only??
In order to launch an existing fixed priced item in your storefront as an auction, you will first need to go to your inventory list and increase the quantity in the quantity available field. From here, make sure that you have the eBay site specifics information completely filled out and then launch it as you would a regular auction from inventory.
Now if you want to cancel the fixed priced item in your storefront and just launch it as an auction, you will first have to remove the item from your storefront. To do this, go to your inventory page and click on the item title. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and reduce the qty in the "Qty at storefront" field to zero. From here, make sure that you that you have enough qty available to launch an auction and then select the item from the main inventory page and use the "launch" feature.
