Even though I have "insurance optional" checked everywhere available, it is no longer picked up by Ebay. All of my recent auctions are noted as "insurance not offered."

The way they offer it seems the same. The code that triggers may have been altered. All these changes seem to have happened all at once.
I suspect that instead of changing each item individually, they just completely redid the checkout, code-wise.
Another change that I thought you instituted so I didn't mention it, is that on the batch "ebay site information", the "eBay checkout" no longer contains the amounts for first class, Priority, insurance, etc. It now just contains the "instructions" paragraph.
So if Ebay did that, then they want that part of the checkout to be triggered by entries elsewhere.
Do you ever get the feeling that they would just prefer all sellers to just use their new selling tools?
