I'm getting an SMPro error message after each upload, when I try to create a new auction from within SMPro, and after I click "OK" for a successful upload of the previous auction. It started today and both times I had to exit SMP and restart. This is annoying. I'm running SMPro version 4.2 (build 1010) on a Win98SE machine.
Try uninstalling it and reloading it from a fresh download. Be sure to use the Add/Remove programs option in your Windows Control Panel to remove it, so it backs up your data for you.
