I have just started with a new computer and have downloaded SMPro to my computer. The icon appears on the desktop and when I open it the set up wizard goes through the set up. But I still cannot get the program opened to use it. After the setup it closes and nothing else. When I reopen the AMPro it runs throught the setup again. What have I done wrong?
When it closes, are you getting any sort of error message or does it just shut down? Try quitting out of all other applications, then going through set up again. Let us know if this works.
I have forwarded your thread to engineering for further investigation. In the meantime you can try uninstalling/reinstalling, as that might help the problem.
I have heard back from engineering on this issue. Please uninstall and reinstall SMPro. If you are going to download a new copy, make sure you save to disk when downloading so that the kit goes to your computer. Also when selecting a location, try downloading it to your C-drive rather than your desktop. Make sure that you run the full installation procedure from the saved kit, and that you run SMPro from the proram icon created during installation. If you continue to have trouble after this please let me know.
