Since I pay a lot, I thought I'd give you an additional $.02.
With Billpoint is passing away that leaves Paypal virtually alone, obviously. Therefore, almost all on-line payments to the seller will be physically identical. The buyer's address should always appear in the same place on all such payments.
A problem powersellers have is to get the buyer to fill out the label in Postsale. The fact is, most don't.
AW is now set up to notify us of Paypal payments. Suppose, in addition to the current notification, the buyer's address is inserted in Post sale in such a way that it can be programmed to transfer to an Avery label.
I send out hundreds of parcels. Over a thousand in a month and that figure is rising. I spend countless hours, cutting and pasting, line by line, from the invoice to the Avery program. AW does not figure in this major part of the process. I work staight from the payment to the Avery program.
Can you imagine what a relief it would be to just let the computer do all that work in minutes?
Why, it would almost justify the hundreds I pay you every month.

I would agree that this would be very helpful. What I like about endicia is I can cut and paste the complete address over not just a line by line situation. Also if we had a direct export or import into UPS world ship.

It does take time, but I do have to put an address label on the package anyway, and delivery confirmation is a good thing to have with ebay sales - cost .60 at the PO, and free on endicia for Priority, and .13 for other items. Another big help is that endica does address varification, which means that all the address I put in are given a full 9 digit zip code, bar codedand are varifide to be a real address, Your items really do arrive faster if you use this.
I weigh my items as I pack them. If an item is 1 lb .5 oz, I can often remove a tiny bit of packing and I have saved my self $2.00 or more. Also I have discovered that if an item is like 1 lb .2 oz I can fudge it a bit and ship it as 1 lb. I have never had an item come back for not enough postage. Our PO lines are often 1 hour or more. I do have to run the packages by the Post office, but I still save a tremendous amount of time. Sometimes I will ship 40 packages in a day. I would spend an hour in line. I also use UPS for my larger items.
I need to determine before I get to the PO if the item is best shiped UPS or USPS. I can not do that if I am using the PO to do my postage.
Also I have discovered that the PO is often wrong on there own postage rules (this is more often true with International items). I have had to document from there own web site what shipping should be on items before. You can end up paying 2 to 3 times what you should if you are not careful.

I don't do a lot of heavy shipping, but I have found a resource from USPS that is extremely helpful.
Go to USPS web site and download the USPS Shipping Assistant.
I was using the CD that is available from the PO with lots of info, but their Shipping Assistant is easier to use and extremely helpful for international shipping. At the touch of a button it lists restrictions and conditions for overseas shipping. Handles Domestic calculations too.
It's a free registration and in my opinion you can't beat it as for USPS shipping.
