On my AW online account, I show two of four methods of shipping checked: Priority Mail, Canadian, and International. The second option is NOT checked, but shows: 1st Class Mail. There is no option to change the 1st Class to something like, "Choose One" or some other default as there is in Auction Manager Pro. I would have thought that b/c it is NOT checked this would be fine.
Yet, when I synchronize this with my offline AW Manager Pro, it sets the second shipping option to USPS First Class.
Please advise, so that I don't have to keep changing this after I synch my uploads and images.
Please go to SMPro's Shipping Preferences window (click Edit > Preferences > Post Sale Management in the menu, then select the Shipping Options entry), change the second shipping option to "Choose one" and click OK. Batch items that you create afterwards will show this default.

This is exactly what I do. But each time I synchronize, AMPro defaults to what my online settings are, even though it isn't checked as an option online. Meaning, I have to reset it on AMPro each and every time I do a new batch of listings.
Is this supposed to work this way? If not, please advise how I can fix this problem.

Hi Rustygumbo,
In addition to setting your Pro settings to what was explained above, go to your Global Preferences in your My Account tab and deselect that second option. This should fix the problem.

It doesn't fix this problem. This is exactly what was explained in the first posting. It isn't checked on AW, but it resets AMPro as if it was checked.
I forgot to mention that what you have to do is after you make the change (deselect the second option online, and pick "choose one" in Pro for that second option), you have to quit and restart Pro. Try that, let me know if it still won't work for you.

It doesn't matter if I restart Pro or not. Once I synchronize with a new batch, Pro somehow interprets the unchecked option from online, as a shipping option.
I have reset this each and every time I do a batch, and am getting quite frustrated.
I have tested it by uploading a test batch and it did not alter the preferences in Pro when I came back and opened up the program. Did you do what I suggested?

YES!!!! I do that each and every single time I do a batch. This has been going on since I first downloaded AMPro over a year ago. I just put up with it, and have decided not to any more. I had hoped that updates would fix this, but it doesn't.
It only happens during syncronization between AMPro and my online account. It updates this setting, even if I manually reset it in AMPro and check it online to make sure it wasn't reset with the shipping option being checked. The minute I do a synch, the AMPro setting reverts back to the shipping option being shown. Then I have to go into the AMPro preferences, and reset it in post sale management/shipping options.
I have become quite a pro at resetting this. I don't want to be a pro at resetting this anymore. I want it set properly, so that I can forget about it and move on.
One more thing I would like to check before I escalate this issue. When you go to preferences in Pro to choose the "choose one" are you hitting the Apply button, and then the Ok button? Or just the Ok button?
