When using SMPro and creating listings for Storefront items, the Category area (in which you may browse your categories by title instead of number) was in alphabetical order until a day or two ago. What happened? Have tried to re-synch, etc. with no luck. Will they revert back to alphabetical anytime soon? This same problem exists on the site itself when I am editing in the inventory...these are storefront categories NOT inventory categories.

Hello,

When did this seem to start? I logged into your account, went to your inventory page, and when viewing the details for any of your items, the storefront categories were appearing in alphabetical order for me. It lists the one you selected for that item first, but you can sroll up to the start and see them in their correct order.

Uh..per my email above, it started within the past two days. First, the Sales Manager Pro which is on my computer: When creating a store front listing, the categories (pull down menu)are no longer alphabetized which makes finding the correct category difficult. Second, go into the inventory and look at the STOREFRONT CATEGORIES as mentioned in my previous email. They are no longer alphabetized. They were alphabetized in both places A FEW DAYS AGO. Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry about that, its a default question I always ask.

Just to be clear, I logged into your account, went to the inventory page, clicked on an existing item, and in the storefront category section, this is where I am seeing them still appear in alphabetical order.

When I go to the Sales Manager tab and click to create a new listing from here, then choose to list to your storefront, the storefront categories from here are alphabetical as well.

You are absolutely right...I am now alphabetical once more. Am checking my SMPro now and will synch if need be. Thanks...just some computer glitch, I guess.

The storefront categories in the SMPro are not alphabetized. They used to be. I synched, shut down, restarted, synched, shut down, and restarted to no avail. They are a jumbled mess. Any suggestions?

Thanks, sounds petty but takes a lot of time if you have 30 or 40 categories. Appreciate it!

Just curious if we have an estimate on this fix. It is difficult to locate the category when in Browse in SMPro...

thanks,

Hello,

This should be available shortly. We found the error and have corrected it, once it is properly tested, it will go live to the site.

Thank you for your patience.

Hello,

The fix to this issue is now live. Please note, though, that SMPro will synchronize your Store categories only when a change occurs.

If you want to trigger a fresh synchronization of the alphabetically-ordered list of categories, please:
- go to the online Store Manager and edit categories (add/remove a category, or slightly alter the name of a category by adding a char to its name)
- synch SMPro
- restart the program.

Once your Pro categories were updated, you can change back the category name in the online Store Manager.

Thanks,

-Radu
