After you download the .csv inventory file what can you view it in?

I tried importing with Excel but that didn't seem to work.

Thanks!

Hello,

Instead of importing it, just double click on the file itself once. I did this and Excel opened right up and displayed my entire inventory contents.

I tried that at first and Excel reported: "Unable To Read File" - just downloaded it again, got the same result.

Probably my VERY bad connection I have at the moment. I'll try again later when the wind blows the other way!

Thanks Christopher!

Hello,

You can also open the .csv inventory file with a regular text editor, such as Notepad.

Excel might get confused by the HTML tags in your descriptions, and indeed not be able to open the downloaded file.

Thanks Radu,

Seems the file downloaded fine, and indeed the HTML is keeping Excel from handling it correctly.

I was able to Import the file into Excel, but with all the HTML in my listings it basically doesn't look like what I expected an inventory file to look like.

Good data, but nothing I can use.

Thanks!
