I'm set up to collect Sales Tax for MN. However some buyers from other states are getting tax in that field. The states are MI,TN, and some others
Thanks for your help

Hello,

The tax field will be visible to all customers who go through checkout. I see that you have placed text in the tax field that MN residents should calculate tax -- you can also put it in your WBN, or in your auction listings, in case you have customers putting tax in who are not from that state.

Regards,

Sonya

I've ran into this same issue. Why doesn't checkout do tax calculation automatically; pulled from the address the customer enters in and go from there.

A one-time setup on the seller's end defining the seller's location and taxing states and tax amount is all that is necessary and then this recurring issue goes away, taxes are collected where they are supposed to be, not presented where they are NOT supposed to be; and seller and most importantly the customer are all happy campers.

It's done everywhere else... why not here?
