For the past 2 days, I have had buyers use the cart check-out & pay me with Paypal payments. The numbers for auction items are automatically assigned ( not buyer's placing them)in the paypal confirmation and are seriously wrong numbers. They begin with 565 or 575.....
It doesn't happen with every buyer who pays me with paypal though.
WHat is happening?
Difficult for me to match auctions with buyer's payment, sometimes.

Hi Doris,
When they start with those numbers it means it is an order -- you have buyers paying you for multiple purchases. If this is confusing you, you may want to turn off the shopping cart in Global Preferences. This way, buyers won't be able to combine orders themselves.
You can search for the order numbers in Post Sale, they will bring up all the items that are a part of that order.
