I have a computer running on W98 which requires me to reinstall SMP each time I shut the program down.

I have downloaded the file to the desktop and it goes fairly fast on reinstalling. Still stops production.

Any ideas?

Hello syes,

I have never heard of this particular problem before. You say the program requires you to reinstall every time you shut down - can you tell us what type of error message you receive? Do you receive an error message, or does the program simply not function until you reinstall it?

Fatal error
SMPro cannot continue!
Error reading file 'C:\PROGRAM FILES\AUCTIONWATCH\sites\ebay.xml'!
Please reinstall application!

This now also happens on my laptop. That makes me think that it is on the internet on my site.

Hello Tom,

For the laptop: please uninstall and reinstall the program. It's likely that the most recent ebay.xml failed to synch properly due to a communication glitch.

For the Windows 98: what is the exact error message that you are getting? Please note that no other program should run on your computer when reinstalling, because it may impede a complete SMPro installation.
