just downloaded Pro 5.0 and it looks like since the SKU inventory system is finally there I could switch from SMBE to Pro. How would I import my inventory?
The Pro inventory actually has not changed -- it is still pretty much the same as it was in the last version. We've always had a SKU field there.
You can import your SMBE inventory into Pro by using the Batch Importer. The Batch Importer can be located in Tools. When you select Batch Importer, you will start the Batch Importer Wizard. In step 1, you will need to choose "Sales Manager Business Edition" as the file type and then follow the instructions in rest of the steps.
Step 2 asks you for the location of BE. The default install location for BE is
C:\Program Files\AuctionWatchSMBE

Well I feel like an idiot for not noticing the inventory before, but that being said...once I point to the SMBE directory, what do I point to IN that directory?
