I am setting up a new ebay account and would like to copy all inventory, profiles and checkout information that I currently have on file with my current account. How many of the folders in Vendio would I need to copy to the new account to make this happen. I realize that I will have to make some changes of email addresses and paypal ids within the structure, but it would save me a lot of time if I only have to make those changes. Thanks, Eric
Will you be changing your current eBay ID or using a new one? If it is just changing your eBay ID, you won't have to transfer anything, but we will need to change your Ebay ID for you.
If you want an additional eBay account, you will need to create a Vendio account for it under a different email address. You can install more than one copy of Pro onto your computer -- if you need directions on how to do that, let me know and I will post them up for you. Regarding transfering information -- you can copy your inventory from one pro to another but you cannot do that with profiles or checkout information. You'd need to set up the profiles in your other copy of Pro, and the Checkout would need to be set up in the Vendio account that you create for your new eBay ID.

I have 2 accounts with Ventio. Is it possible that by copying the "data" and "inv" files from Account#1 computer to a New Account#2 computer that it picked up all information regarding the Account#1. Unless I made another mistake all the information on account#2 is like I am using account#1. Please help.

Hello Eric,
You need to copy a couple of files from the data folder:
- inv.dat holds the inventory
- profile.dat holds the profiles.
You will need to go to My Account online though, to enter Seller, Post Sale and other preferences for the second account. This includes setting up the listing Templates.
