I have removed this information because it was inaccurate. 5.0 is too confusing and time consuming and what I thought would be easier has turned into something much more difficult and frustrating.

You can put any number you want in the quantity and it will upload like that. It only takes one synchronization -- you can have a batch with auction listings and inventory-intended store listings (because you would put quantity at store to zero, and the quantity available to whatever number you like).

Yeah, there are some flaws in this assumption.
First, when I enter everything into My Store, I cannot enter "0" because it states it must be "1" or greater.
Second, just because I can have auctions show up through the My Store feature doesn't mean everything will be perfect and ready to go in Inventory. I have to make several changes after the auctions show up in my inventory. The auction prices have to be re-entered, WBN notification has to be selected, and I have to manually enter all of the Ebay specific information.
I can type pretty fast (50-60 wpm), however, even with this typing speed and having Cable Internet access, I am still wasting at least twice the time updating everything, and hoping I got it right before I launch everything.
I cannot fathom being an engineer and not realizing how this will effect everyone who uses Inventory with Vendio. It is obvious that people hate this system. I am sure you hate answering the same questions, and reading the same "5.0 bashing" comments as well.

Hello rustygumbo,
SM Pro 5.0 will allow you to upload a Store item with qty. in Store set at zero. You must enter a value for qty. available, but this does not mean that the item will appear in your Store.
I am curious - why are you using online inventory to save and launch auction items rather than SM Pro? There may be something that we are overlooking, and your input is welcome.

If I use Pro and I have 10 of the same item and I upload 5 to auction and sell all, does that sync with my offline inventory? Or do I still have to MANUALLY remove the 5 from my offline inventory?
If you have to manually remove, then that is why I always kept track of inventory online instead of offline.

Hello Sonya, Diana & Seth
Sonya & Diana you both asked me the same questions. I am currently looking for the old download because I just can't take the time to use 5. I realize you know pro 5 inside out but you are not using it for the same purpose that we are... I do not mean to be insulting. It is simply obvious on this "side" that it isn't working very well for the squeaky wheels that use the inventory on line. If the off-line and on-line inventory synchronized it would be a totally different thing.
Seth's comment about an engineer designing the new pro this way is easy for me to answer. The engineer is not using this in the real world. Engineers tend to be that way, trust me I have a family full of engineers in different fields and their mind sets are all the same.

Hello Seth,
The automatic update of the Quantity Available field only happens for items launched from the online inventory. Indeed, no such feature exists for the Pro inventory.
