WHEN IS SALES MANAGER PRO - I FIND IT VERY SLOW TO MOVE 1. WHEN CLICKING ON AUCTION - NEW AUCTION AND 2. WHEN MOVING FROM PAGE 1 TO BACK PAGE ( WHERE CATEGORY AND SPECIAL FEATURES ETC ARE) , 3. OR WHEN CLICKING ON BROWSE TO VIEW CATEGORIES - TAKES FOREVER TO POP UP TO OPEN.
THIS HAS BEEN A CONTINUAL PROBLEM FOR A LONG TIME ( I HAVE SALES MGR 5 )
IT WAS SLOW IN THE OLD PRO AND THOUGHT WHEN I UPDATED TO 5 PRO IT WOULD QUICKEN (THAS HAS SOMETIMES SPEED ME UP IN THE PAST BUT NOT WHEN I DOWNLOADED THE NEW 5.0 THIS TIME)
ALSO , IF I HAVE ONE LISTING OPEN IN A BATCH IN PRO AND ATTEMPT TO OPEN ANOTHER LISTING IN THE SAME BATCH (AS IN TO CUT AND PASTE SOME WORDING OR WHAT HAVE YOU ) I GET MESSAGE WITH RED X BOX : " SALES MGR PRO UNABLE TO EXECUTE - CLOSE A PROGRAM AND TRY AGAIN..."
WHY - DO I NEED TO REDOWNLOAD PRO 5 AND IF SO - HOW SO I DONT' LOOSE MY PICTURES AND BATCHES SAVED
( I DONT HAVE A ZILLION BATCHES EVER SAVED OR PICTURES- SO AS TO TRY NOT TO HAVE THAT INTERFERE WITH SLOWING ME DOWN)
UPLOAD AND SYNCS WORK FAST
I AM ON CABLE CONNECTION AND MY COMPUTER MOVES QUICKLY OTHERWISE FOR EVERY THING ELSE

I have experienced the same problem with SMPro 5. Most functions are slow. When I get the error message (that says not enough memory) I click on "my computer>properties>performance" & the percentage of free memory is 10-15%. Closing other programs or using SMPro after rebooting makes no difference. And sometimes the entire system freezes requiring a reboot & loses all unsaved info. This is why I stopped using SMPro & now work primarily online. I can work with 5-8 windows open while online. But offline with SMPro I can only do one activity at a time. For example, if I am editing an inventory item & decide to create a new profile from the profile manager the memory available error message appears. I have to close not just the inventory item but my entire inventory & then open profile manager to create a new profile.
My system: Windows ME, 128 MB Ram, 12GB hard drive, cable internet connection.

I had same problems (nearly same hardware) - swithced OS to XP Pro and eveything GREAT! WIN ME has deservedly earned it's lousy rep.
