-- Why is it not possible for sellers to have the PayPal logo at the top of eBay pages , when they are using Vendio Sales Manager Listing-Only Plan ??
At Vendio site " My account -- Sellers preferences -- eBay site specifics " it would be easy !!!
It is not true that we must use eBay checkout to have the PayPal logo on top !!! I have several items I relist directly at eBay, with the PayPal logo on top and I'm not using the eBay checkout !!
NOTE : I don't want the logo auto inserted at the bottom at the page ( done by PayPal site). Also, I don't want to revise 100s of listings every week to have the logo on top.
This option has been available for quite some time now. To set it up in your account, you need to go to My Account > Global Preferences and check off the radio button for this option for PayPal:
"Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo in my listing"
Keep in mind that this also inserts a Pay Now button in the auction when it closes, which will lead customers through eBay Checkout. If you do not want to use eBay's checkout, and you would like to guide your customers to use your preferred checkout method, you can enable the Vendio Checkout button which will appear in the listing once it has closed. For more information on this, please refer to this link:
At Vendio site : My Account > Global Preferences , I have 2 options to add PayPal logo:
1st -- Include only the PayPal logo in my listing (recommended)
2nd -- Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo in my listing
I have the 1st checked. Could you clarify me what this option does ?
The first one adds PayPal as a payment option for your listing. When your customers check out, they will have it available as a possible payment method.
We added the second option when eBay acquired PayPal and changed things so that PayPal became a searchable field, thus allowing buyers to find auctions that had PayPal as a payment preference. The downside is that it also adds the Pay Now button and takes people through eBay checkout, but as you can see we have a workaround available for that.
Basically they both do the same thing for Vendio Checkout.
