Hi, I was having problems updating to 5.1 from 5.0; therefore, I uninstalled 5.0 using add/delete programs and proceeded to download 5.1. I now cannot open SMPro and am getting the message "Run time error 429. Active X component cannot create object". Please help! Thanks!

Hello,
Runtime error 429 generally indicates a problem within the Sales Manager Pro file structure. In order to correct this, we would recommend that you uninstall then reinstall the application.
To uninstall, you may use the Add/Remove Programs wizard in Windows. Your data should stay intact even after uninstalling, but you may want to save your batches and images folders and the inv.dat file (located in the data folder) to a different location on your hard drive.
Reinstall the program, making absolutely certain that all applications are closed (check the icons in your Windows toolbar on the lower righthand side.) If you still experience this problem after taking these steps, please let us know.

Thanks for the quick reply, Sonya. After removing again and re-installing all appears to be working normally. Yeah!!
