I have been using SMBE and realize I must finally give it up. I converted my inventory into an Excel spreadsheet, I then go into SMPro 5.2 and tell it to import the spreadsheet. Everything seems to be going fine until it is almost done and then I hit an error. I view the log and get the following:
AWImport version 2.1 log file
9/13/2003 12:59:33 PM
Record 1 ( Title = Title, Folder = Folder ) : Wrong datatype, Quantity Available must be Integer
This has happened multiple times and I even deleted the first auction in case it was just that one, but now with a another auction as the first one I got the message again.
Any suggestions? I really don't want to redo my 1500 auctions I have in the system!
(and yes, I did also trying importing just the SMBE database...it set ALL the invetory #'s to a qty of "1"

ive used aw loader for several years but this is first with update.....found out....DON'T download csv into inventory import....use batch import instead....it will download your csv....highlighted...its easier to make neccessary changes in that format and then its ready to upload to auctins and you can save batches....and always get them in open batch menu under file.....i did several today to try it ....they don't show up in my inventory on my computer but do show up in inventory in store in aw...i am currently csv'ing 800+ to put in store this weekend ....(can only do 100 at a time) ....someone suggested dragging from inventory to new batch...too long....import to your batch instead...faster...good luck

also splash if your new....put pics into your aw upload program instead of uploading one by one into image hosting venue....when you synconize...after pics are in your pic folder in upload program.....process will be faster....also synchronize pics BEFORE you do batch upload.....that way if there is a problem you won't end up double listing ....
