Have read all the suggestions and moderator comments, but they have been of NO use to me.
Am running 5.5 of SM Pro and had this exact same problem when running 5.3. Although some images download into the SMPro database fine, quite a few of them do not. It doesn't matter how many times I open and shut the program and re-sync.
I've checked my images online and they're all available. There's no reason (on my side) as to why I shouldn't be sync-ing up.
So WHAT IS THE DEAL????? This is getting VERY boring. Aren't you guys tired of all these customer complaints? It's getting as bad as Microsoft... Well, maybe not THAT bad...

Don't know if this will help you or not, do you disable anti virus and firewall protection before synchronizing?
If you do, I don't know what the problem could be, that is if I understood your question.
Please note that SMPro does not support images in the GIF format. You cannot add gif's to the SMPro album and, if you have gif's in your online image hosting account, they will not be synchronized into SMPro.
In case you notice images missing from SMPro, but which are not gif's, please let us know so that we can investigate further.

Thank you for pointing this out to me... I didn't realize SMPro didn't support GIFs and, sure enough, those were the ones not synching. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was going on... Thanks much for the heads up.
BTW - exactly why is this format not supported? Is that something that will change soon?

im sure it is the same reason ehay doesnt support them because you have to pay royalties or something stoopid to officially support gif files.... jaypegs are the only sure fire way to go
