Vendio,

I desparately need field matching within SMP for assigning gallery images. I continue to manually assign gallery images for hundreds of listings every week. I just installed the SMP 5.5 and confirmed that this is still not supported.

I requested this several months ago. I would imagine that this should be a quick win for you guys. Please notify me of when you anticipate making this available. I understand that you have "passed on my suggestions"; however, I am currently interested in a straight answer on any plans for implementation along with an ETA.

Thanks,
Ted

Hello Ted,

Thank you for bringing this back to our attention. We will check on the possibility of this feature request being added to a future version and get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Regards,
Christopher

Hello,

Ok, we touched base with engineering and it looks like this should be able to be added to the next version. Unfortuntely we have no ETA on when the next version would come out, but as new features are added both here and at eBay, its typically not far off.

Christopher

Chris,

Please confirm whether this will be in the forthcoming SMP version. I need this feature desperately. It seems like this enhancement would be relatively easy on your end. Can you provide me with an ETA on when the SMP version will be released?

Thanks,
Ted

Chris, it sounds like you guys are planning a SMP update in conjunction with the upcoming eBay title extension. Can you please confirm that gallery pic enhancement will be bundled with this SMP update. This feature is really important to me, and you previously indicated that this should not be a big deal to include.

Thanks!
Ted

I upgraded to Version 6 today and unfortunately do not appear to have the ability to specify the gallery image. Please advise.

Thanks,
Ted

I also need this desperately need this functionality.. I post things online for other people, my biggest client (dcomm) always uses gallery pics, to date I've been using turbolister to import data and send it over, but he would really like for me to integrate with his vendio account, but I can't do this until vendio improves their client software.

You can use the Gallery feature in the SMPro version 6. To do so, click on the Ebay Site Information tab when you are creating a listing. You'll see the option is under the Details section.

No I need the import gallery picture functionality.. opening each item in the client and selecting a gallery image is time consuming. I have written my own inventory software, and need to be able to import the gallery picture option into vendio via a CSV. That way I never have to select one, I just have my software echo the name of the first image, to the csv field "gallery picture".. see what I mean?

If I can import a gallery picture name into vendio's client from my csv, then I can export my inventory to csv, and import it as a batch into vendio. Then I never have to select a gallery picture, because my software selects the first image, and echoes it as the gallery image in the csv file.

But I can't do that, because vendio's client won't allow you to import the gallery picture name via csv.. so when I import my inventory into vendio's client, I then have to go through select a gallery image for each item before sending the batch to vendio..

This is very time consuming when you're listing 400 items a week.

(I post items for other people on ebay.. using their ebay accounts.. right now I have to do it all through turbolister.. one of my clients wants me to integrate with vendio so that he can have vendio post-sale functionality.. but until vendio improves their client software, it's really not feasible for me to do that.. if it takes 1 minute an item to select each image, that's an extra 400 minutes, 6 hours and 40 minutes a week in data entry. I'm either going to have to charge him more per item to compensate for that, or wait until vendio improves their product.
