I was dismayed to see that Inventory Control was not part of the latest survey. I know that BSME offers it but this Window's client has not been at all upgraded. The only choice is the Pro, and Pro lacks inventory control. The online Sales Manager is no good for me either. So the question is will the Pro have inventory control and if so when?

We will be making improvements to the inventory system, however, I do not know the details or have a firm date. Can I ask why online inventory is not working for you?

Even with a DSL connection, working online is a pain. I am online all the time, but I find SMPro more efficient.
Working in SM online presents other problms as well: the number of images is limited and there are no profiles. I did use it for a bit because of the inventory capability. I switched to SMPro when I realized that on occasion the inventory was incorrect, such as in showing that two units were up at auction, when in fact only one was.
I subscribed to SMBE under a different name and I like it a lot. I would have switched opus to SMBE as well but the new functionalities were not there.
For those of us who sell multiple units and keep inventories, inventory control is a must. No having it in SMPro has been a problem for me.
One last thing - if inventory control will be implemented, a location field is a must as well.
