Hi
For the past week or so, every auction that has closed with a winner has had the checkout banner over my logo and description bar. It use to be above it. Please fix this as it gives my auctions an unprofessional look.
Thank you.

Hi Paula,
Do you have item numbers you can give us where the checkout bar blocked your logo and description bar? I checked some of your listings and the checkout bar was not blocking them.
Regards,
Sonya

Hi Sonya,
I complained about this a week or so ago, and it happened again to one of my closed auctions tonight. Just for drill, I closed the page and called it up again -- and this time it was okay.
As I said before though, and as this poster and others have noted, there IS a problem with Checkout slapping its big yellow band right across the top of your ended auction.
It is a sometime thing, so that makes it hard to replicate and hard to fix. But somebody ought to begin a hunt for the glitch that is doing this.
Thanks. Marshall

Hi Sonya
First I want to thank Marshall for his validation!
Some of these intermittent problems are hard document. However, I took an hour this morning to hunt for one of these auctions and I found one. #2879265816 There are others but I don't have time to look for them.
I hope this will provide enough information for your engineers to figure out what is going on.
Thank you

Hello Paula,
When using Windows 2000 and IE6.0, the following is what loaded when I click to view this listing?
I believe this is how it is supposed to look. Are you saying that on your end, that banner appears directly over your Vendio storefront logo?
If you click to refresh the page does it make any difference?
Regards,
Christopher

Hi Christopher
OK, now I want to be sure we are seeing the same thing. What you sent shows me a banner under my store heading and above the swimsuit, cutting off the title bar. Is that correct?
Presuming this is correct, then yes the banner sometimes appears where you see it in what you sent me or sometimes over (not above-on top of) my logo. Instead of where it shows in the image you sent me.
Did you look at the other auction, too?
Does that make sense?
Thanks

Hello Paula,
I believe this to be an issue with the storefront specific template and the JavaScript checkout banner unfortuntely. The following is how I saw the second example on this same setup:
Does this differ from how it appears on your end?

Christopher

Hi Christopher
No, when I first looked it was over the logo. Now I see it the same way you do.
Can this be fixed? It is intermittent.
Thank you

This continues to happen to me as well. I had first mentioned it back before Christmas, but I just now called up a closed auction and the yellow Checkout banner was across my heading and the top of the description.
This does seem to happen randomly, so it may be hard to replicate, as I said a couple of times before. But something really should be done about it. If someone goes to a completed auction -- or back to an auction they have won -- it is unreadable when this happens.
Also, I note in one of the responses from Sonya (maybe another of the techs) that this is related to storefront templates. Not so; I don't have a storefront.

Hello again
Here is another auction: 2880939882
I was just re-reading what you wrote Christopher, "I believe this is how it is supposed to look." No, this image is INCORRECT. The banner should not be appearing this way.
It should be appearing where it is in the second image.
This continues to be a problem that needs to be looked into.
Please advise of the status of this problem.
Thank you.

Hi. I have written about this several times before, and it is happening with my closed auctions again tonight. As with Paula's auctions, the completed auction comes up with the yellow Vendio Checkout banner slapped right across the heading and top of the auction description. One item number tonight where this is visible is 2215765607. Are others not having this problem, or are we the only ones who are complaining? Please try to fix this!

Marshall

Hello, Hello
Here is another auction showing the banner over part of the store heading. #2879272126
Please respond to my last posting.
Thank you
Paula
PS Marshall, I think we are the only squeaky wheels. Also, it takes time to respond and keep posting stuff AND someone needs to notice this has happened. I usually don't have time to visit closed auctions unless it is a non-paying bidder situation or really awesome feedback when I want to recall who the person is...

Hello is any one there?
Where are we on this one????
This message was left on the 12th-today is the 20th...
Here is another one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=2882568234
I tried refreshing the page as Christopher suggested with interesting results... the banner is gone.
Have enough people brought this to your attention to get some action?
It looks very unprofessional to our clients.
Thank you

Hello,
We are investigating the problem with the banner covering the description. Unfortunately I do not have any updates at this time, but I will keep you informed.

Hi Sonya
Thank you for letting me know.
I will keep you informed when I run across additional items where this has happened.
Such as:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=46894&item=2882568290
There was another one but I can't find it right now. It seems to be happening more often lately.
Have a great weekend!
