I really need help with SMP 5.5.1. I finally upgraded and I absolutely hate it! I didn't want the upgrades but was tired of seeing the message telling me to upgrade so I did. Now it doesn't work right. It takes SMP 3 minutes to open! When I open a saved batch it take at least a minute to open. Then when trying to edit a item in the batch it goes crazy! The page opens in squares and then finally puts themselves together so I can see it. At the bottom in my task bar another SMP tasks opens and once the page is loaded it goes away. It's like it pulling the info from 2 different places??? Is there someway I can save my batches, (have 37), delete the program, download it again and ad the batches back in. I don't use the inventory on vendio because I am constantly making changes and it's easier faster (or used to be) to make the changes and upload the batch again. There's alot of work that I don't want to loose. Somebody please help before I go crazy! Thanks!

Hello,

The Vendio program saves the batches into a 'Batches' folder. If you have been using the program from a while back, you will probably find this in an AuctionWatch directory of your Program Files folder on the C drive.

If no AuctionWatch directory, then a simple Vendio directory.

Simply move the entire directory outside of the program, along with the images folder (you dont want to have to download all of them again) - then use the Add/Remove programs option in your Windows control panel to remove it properly. When finished, you can manually delete the AuctionWatch/Vendio directory as it will still exist.

Download a fresh copy of the software here, disable all other programs and run the installer. When finished, restart your machine. Next, manually replace the new batches and images folders with the originals you have from your last version, then launch the program.

It will still act as though you have never used it, but once signed in properly you will have access to those images and batches and be able to use the program from a clean install.

Regards,
Christopher
