I upgraded to version 5.5.1 today, because I couldn't upload any images with the old one I had (5.2 I believe). I was hoping this would fix the problem, but now every time I try to synchronize, it tries to download ebay.xml which takes a very longs time, then says "Error saving ebay.xml locally". When I restart the program it says that ebay.xml is missing and that I should synchronize immediately, and then it's the same. That's why I am asking here for help. I still don't know that even if this is fixed the images will start uploading normally again.
To help resolve the problem you have described, first uninstall the current version of SM Pro that is on your system and then reinstall it again.
You may use the Add/Remove Programs Wizard in Windows to uninstall the application. You do not need to worry about saving your batches and images as these will be retained, however, you may want to copy the batch and images folders to a separate location on your hard drive if it will make you more comfortable with this process.
Once you have uninstalled SM Pro, you will need to reinstall it. You may use the install kit that you used before if it is still on your system, otherwise, you will need to download the install kit again (please be sure to select "save to disk" when downloading.) Before you begin the install process, please be sure to close any open applications you might have installed on your system.
Once you have reinstalled the SM Pro application, you should be able to run it without error. If you are still experiencing problems after uninstalling/reinstalling the application, please let us know.
