I have created a listing using Frontpage and then copy the HTML code and paste on the description which included my custom template.
However all the text and template came in but the pictures did not it only shows some blank area.

I tried this method using E-Bay's Turbo Lister and everything came in fine with all the pictures.

I know that E-bay only allow 1 Free pictures but I have seen from numerous auctions that they inserted 3 to 6 pictures in the description and not having to pay for the extra pictures insert.

How did they do that???

Please help

I am new to this Vendio system.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Hello,

The preview in Pro may not accurately depict how the listing will look when it goes online, as it does not preview HTML that displays images properly. If you want to doublecheck that everything is correct, you can schedule the listing for a future launch date and synchronize. Then go to pending, where it should be sitting waiting to launch, and click on it to see how it looks.

Sonya

Hi Sonya

I tried that but the graphic did not show up???
What did I do wrong???

What I did was I went to the Frontpage and to the HTML tab then copy everything over and pasted on the SMPRO on the description.

All the writings & the template showed up but not the pictures of the items.

Do I need to save the graphic files in any where??

Thanks
Paul

Hello,

To get your images inserted into those areas where the blank Xs are for images, first you will need to upload the images to Vendio image hosting if you have not done so already. Then you will need to edit your HTML and replace anything that has this:

images/FE-1.JPG
images/FE-2.JPG
etc...

to this:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/yourVENDIOusername/yourimagefilename.jpg

Replace "yourVENDIOusername" with your Vendio name and "yourimagefilename.jpg" with the name of each image that you uploaded. Then, save your changes, and preview them -- it should be correct provided you made no spelling errors. We can check it for you if you like, once you finish with the edits.

Regards,

Sonya

Hello,

That is not the correct file extension for your image. You have them uploaded into your Image Hosting as FE1.JPG, FE2.JPG, etc. Here is what you would need to put in your HTML for the image URL:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/giftslinx/FE1.JPG

Use that URL, just change the number accordingly. Let me know if you have any more trouble with this.

Regards,

Sonya
