The item specifics (which eBay are promoting as an alternative to the categories, and plan to simplify those..) are put in SM Pro with a pop-up dialog box that is very fragile. Clicking on a field while another is dropped down seems to cause runtime error 0 and a complete crash more often than not.
If eBay carry on with their planned category changes in Music, listing with SM Pro will be very frustrating. Obviously with the crash all unsaved batches are lost.
Does anyone else have this problem? Do I just have to be very careful with the mouse on this pop up?

Hi Mike,
You may want to try running Pro with nothing else open in the background since the program takes up a lot of memory. Let us know if this does not improve the crash issues you are having.

It's a little better, but..
selecting new item, ebay site info, category 1073 (classical records) then specifics..
drop down the top box, slide down it and to the bottom box, click on bottom box straight away gives me the error Runtime error 0 most times. It's fine if I'm careful and select from each box carefully in turn.
May be an issue with the metadata for this category, of course.

Hello Mike,
We could not replicate the problem in the category that you mentioned. It is possible that a setting, or library conflict on your system is causing the crash, so this is what we recommend.
1. Please go to the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.

Radu -
no overall improvement with all that updating. However, by being careful with my clicking I did manage to enter a batch with no crashes. I'm only running win98, too.
There will need to be a way of making these entries 'sticky' in some way - an extra five selections each time for an item is wearing out my mouse.
