Everything was fine earlier today Now there is not an option for item specifics. What the heck is going on. If this is your new policy count me OUT!!!

Hello,

Item specifics have not changed, but eBay categories have just been updated. Please make sure that you synchronize and restart SM Pro, then check for item specifics again.

If you are still having trouble, please copy here the category number(s) for which item specifics are not available.

I hit clothing, shoe, accessories - Wmoens shoes = Category 63889. That part is correct but the item specifics stays greyed out. This is in SMPRO Batch listings. I need to get this corrected asap.

Hello,

Did you do what was suggested, regarding synchronizing Pro and restarting? As long as you do this, and you go back and reselect the category from the start of the category tree, you should have access to all the updates.

I am using SMPRO I create a new listing .. Follow the tree and Specifics remain greyed out. I have resynched several tiems still no luck..

I too am unable to use access item specifics (the button remains greyed out) after going through the category tree in Clothing & Accessories. I upgraded to 5.5 and have synched a half dozen times.

Hello,

Please make sure that you also restart SM Pro after synching; this is to ensure that the mappings between category numbers and item specifics are refreshed.

If you still cannot enter item specifics after restarting SM Pro, please let us know what categories your are listing in.

Item specifics should now be available for the category mentioned above, 63889.

My problem is a little more basic.

How do I get the "item specifics" in the first place.

I synch regularly, but can never get the "item specifics" box to appear.

Hello,

After you choose your category, using the Browse button in Pro, you should see the little Item Specifics box to the right become clickable. If it doesn't then the category you are using doesn't have item specifics. We recommend you download the latest version of Pro before trying this, if you haven't done so already.
