Hi again,

I must admit, I'm more than a little frustrated. We signed up with Vendio approximately 2.5 weeks ago, as it looked awesome with great features, but thus far, we've had more than a few problems. We kept getting Runtime errors with the previous (5.5) version and had to reinstall it twice, so I downloaded version 6.0 when I received the email saying that it was available, hoping that it would fix the problem. I am now getting the following error:

Runtime error -2147221231 (80040111)
Automation Error
Classfactory Cannot Supply Requested Class

I have no idea what to do; obviously, it is NOT acceptable to continue to uninstall/reinstall the program every day or two.

Additionally, as can be seen by an earlier post today, a WBN was sent to a non-winning bidder; I'm not even sure how to correct that issue. Plus, a WBN that WAS sent to the correct bidder is now not marked, so we have no way of tracking that easily any longer; I have marked it in the "notes" section, but we will have to go into that closed auction every time to check it's status. What is going on??

Please advise.

Hello,

What are you attempting to do, when you get this runtime error? Is it always the same place or a different one each time?

Regarding the WBN issue -- what is the item number you are referring to?

Every time I receive the error, I'm merely trying to start SM Pro. The only way around it is to uninstall and reinstall the program. Happened with the previous version as well.

Hello,

Please go to the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the critical updates and Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.

If the program is still not working properly, please uninstall and install SM Pro again.

Been there, done that; I make sure that my version of Windows is continually updated to ensure that I have all of my bases covered (and just as an FYI, I'm running XP, if that helps).
