downloaded 6.0 and wrote up two batches of auctions.

the first uploaded just fine, 10 ebay auctions.

second batch was 1 reg ebay auction, then 1 ebay motors auction then 1 more reg ebay auction. when i tried to edit the ebay motors auction a box popped up that said "this function not available". tried to upload that batch and only the first item uploaded but all the pictures uploaded fine.

what's the problem?

I haven't found any reported problems with the edit feature. You may want to check to make sure your firewall and anti-virus softwares are disabled while syncing and updating in Pro.

I've tested the Ebay Motors auctions in the SMPro tool and I'm not having a problem with editing the listings.

Please let us know what your Ebay Motor listing looks like so we can simulate the exact listing and procedures you're going through.

I had to re-start my computer 3 times because of this problem. Every time I download images, then start a new batch, I can do one, or possibly two listings, before I get "function not available", (either edit or start a new listing). The only solution I've found is to re-start my computer...not amusing!

each time you add a new listing you have to save under a new batch name. then you can edit one item. then you have to save under a new batch name again. that is the only way you keep listing or upload successfully.

if you try uploading after editing, without saving into a new batch name, you get an error and all but the first listing disappears.

DO NOT SAVE TO SAME BATCH NAME, IT DOES NOT WORK AND WHEN YOU UPLOAD, YOU ONLY UPLOAD THE FIRST ITEM.

i used a total of 3 different bach names to upload 11 items. at least it worked though.

Hi rarriffle,

When you save your batch, do you use the Save or the Save As function? I suspect the issues you're running into may be related to a known issue with the Save As function. You can learn more here. After Saving As, this bug can cause other symptoms such as preventing edits or incomplete uploads.

If this is the issue, you can avoid having to rename your batches each time by naming the file on the first Save (brand new name), then using the Save command instead of Save As.

Please let me know if this solves your problem. We are working on a fix for the Save As issue and should have a resolution soon.

Chuck
