OK, do not know what is going on but......

I run 2 copies SMPro on my PC, with unique user names, each it it's own seperate folder. When I update, I download the new version into another folder, and then I run it on top of each copy of SMPro that I have.

So I have downloaded 6.02, and saved it to disk, and then tried my usual upgrade, but all it does is give me the 'unpack' screen, and never opens up, so that I can direct it to install over the top of my 2 copies.

I can not just run the upgrade, at program openning, since you can not have 2 different versions on your PC at the same time, since neither one will open.

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,

First, please check to make sure that the file you managed to download initially is complete. The size of the Vendio-SMPro.exe file should be 9.78 megabytes (10,257,266 bytes). If the file you downloaded does not match that size, please delete the existing Vendio-SMPro.exe and download again.

Before you download again, please clear your browser cache. The incomplete file from the first failed attempt might be stored there and get in the way of a proper download now - thus causing a failed installation. You should also make sure that no download manager or other background task is running in the background.

Be sure to choose to "save" when downloading, and please check again the file size when it finishes. If the size is correct, please try the installations again using the saved file.

Please make sure also that there is enough free space on your computer's hard disk.

Thanks,

-Radu

Hello again -

Looks like I got everything upgraded.

Per your instructions, I checked the upload file, and it was 9.78 meg. So I went into Task Mgr, and found all 4 attempts in there waiting, and deleted them all, cleared all cache, rebooted, and tried install again, and this time it went right ahead and did it's time.

6.0.2 seems to load up quicker, from my desktop, which is great, since I have several thousand images that I use, and sometimes, with 5.5, that image progress bar did seem to be taunting me for a long period of time.

It (6.0.2)also seems to launch, the test auction which put together, quicker as well; and I look forward to using the feature of uploading only the images that I need for the auction listings.

Tnx,

Nan
