I am trying to relist auctions and getting this error:

Error 17206: Invalid payment term(s) specified. PayPal is the only valid payment method for an AutoPay item.

I am trying to use Immediate Payment required via PayPal, but this is how the auction was to begin with. Why would it be different for a relist.

Also, getting the same error when I do a new listing.

Vendio staff: any ideas?

Hello,

Did either of you change anything during the relist process, or are you relisting the items exactly as they were launched? Mikemak88 -- please confirm with us whether your items are new or relists.

Please leave your errored items in pending for us to investigate.

Regards,

Sonya

did not do anything different, just resubmitted the auctions with new qty. FYI (I just used the Sales Manager Interface NOT SMPro.)

It's in pending..... right now

Thanks for the reply.

No, I have not changed anything. Actually I had it on AUTO RELIST and it gave me an error!

The new ones I put up too are giving me an error!

Thanks...

James

Hey Mike...

looks like we are in the same boat. I have about 1000 auctions closing today (from the 10 cent listing day promo last week). I am looking to see which ones did well and relist them, but can't relist!

Let's hope this gets resolved soon.

James

Hello,

This has been filed as a bug -- engineering is working on getting it fixed as we speak.

This error does not occur when listing from Pro, so if you have new listings you should be able to do them in Pro successfully.

I'll keep you updated here as I receive updates on the issue.

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya thanks for the quick response. I don't use the offline AMPro so I will have to wait for you guys to resolve this.

I am still waiting as well. I need to be able to relist auctions. Even the AUTO RENEW ones are not working!

Thanks...

Sonya, I notice this applies only to our immediate payment auctions which accounts for 99% of our business. I just reload a no reserve auction and it worked...

Hello,

Unfortunately I have no updates at this time -- engineering is actively working on a fix for this issue. I will continue to update you with what I know -- yes, this is an error pertaining to Immediate Payment. Other items should be okay but if you run into trouble with them too, please let us know.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya, you have any news for us? This is killing us.

Hello,

eBay no longer allows any other payment options to be listed when you use the instant payment required feature. For right now, you could disable the instant payment required option and list without error.

Otherwise, we have a fix that we are preparing to push to the site that will allow you to list with Instant Payment as long as you do not select any other payment options.

Unfortunately the way it is currently setup, even if you disable all other option, you cannot list with instant payment required.

Christopher

Hello, did ebay not warn you guys about this? So are you going to reply on this thread once you get a "Fix" ready?

Hello,

..ebay not warn you guys about this?

Thats what is supposed to happen, yes.

Also, sorry for the confusion, we actually have a fix for this issue. Once we complete testing and are sure eBay is done making their changes to this same area, we will let you know when it goes live.

Christopher
