Does SMPro still not reduce your inventory when you upload an item? And if it doesn't, why not? Isn't that kind of the point of having an ingventory system? And if you haven't done it yet, when can we expect you to? I deal in large numbers of many items, and I am still using SMBE just because it does change my inventory numbers. I really would like to be able to migrate, but inventory control outweighs all the other perks of SMPro.
I apologize for missing your post. We are working on improvements to the inventory system, however, the SM Pro inventory module does not feature round-trip inventory. The inventory feature online in Sales Manager does have round-trip inventory, however, getting your inventory from offline in Pro to online in Sales Manager poses challenges (you would have to upload the inventory items as Vendio store items then revise the items to set the site-specific information.) We hope to have the improvements to this system implemented shortly (within the next few months.)

Splashpage, off and on I have requested the inventory control feature (never before heard of it being called roun-trip inventory as Diana did above) and never received a positive answer. Once, a few months ago, I started a post asking folks to vote for the inventory control feature and only one person posted. Those who sell one-of-a-kind items don't need inventory control. I sell many units of the same SKU (ISBN in my case) and often I want to sell to zero, which can't be done in SMPro. Sure, it can be done online. Two main drawbacks: the number of pix is limited to 4 and you cannot have batches. It also takes longer to make changes.
