Hoe can I import my database from Turbo Lister into Sales Manager Pro? How do you map from Turbo Lister csv format into SMP?
You can use either the SM Pro Inventory Importer, or the Batch Importer to import directly into batches. Both importers are under SM Pro's Tools menu.
When you get to the Fields Matching window, the columns and rows from the source .csv file should be visible in the left pane. The first record of a TL inventory file holds the column titles (Site, Format, Currency etc.). You can browse through the source file by clicking the up and down arrows of the "Show record" control.
You must map the source columns to SM Pro fields, by picking the field name from the drop-downs shown for each column in the right pane.
As you do not need to import the first row of the TL file, please choose to "Start import from record" 2. Also, as you will probably use this field mapping again for future imports, I would recommend entering a descriptive name (such as 'TL inventory') in the "Use field matching association:" and checking "Save as new association". Thus, you will be able to redo the mapping by simply using this drop-down.
