Hello
Thank you for posting the announcement but

1--I am not clear of what API is. Please forgive my ignorance.

2--If you look into my pending files, I have a ton of errors (actually 50 or so) These were planned to launch on Sunday. Some of these are re-launches that ended on July 11th. When I check the auction, the item specifics are missing the type and style information. The other specifics are filled in. These were launched with smp. I now have to edit every auction launched since July 4th. Where you aware of this problem?
Here is an example, 24W NWT Plus Size Evening Dress Mother of the Bride #11 pending and sku Mhf-2033K-24WP-blu in my inventory modual.

3--I asked a couple of months ago in this forum if it was possible to use the photos hosted here at vendio on my website. I also asked how one would do that i.e. what the path is? No one answered. Please answer this question. If the answer is no, do you have any suggestions on what I should do? If the answer is yes, I would like to use the vendio hosting message and click to enlarge features.

Thank you
Paula

The eBay API is the "back door" interface that we use to push your listings through to eBay. We subscribe to the API (which is built by eBay) in order to offer the best possible service for our customers.

When eBay updates categories and item specifics, we make updates to our system so that we are in sync with them. It sounds like some updates were made to the item specifics in your categories, in which case you will indeed need to edit the listings and add the new item specifics. Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid this process, as the data is expected by eBay's system.

As far as your image question, it should be fine if you are an active user and you use an image or two on a different website. To obtain the HTML, go to the image hosting tab, select your image. Confirm the image, and on the next page select "new" and "generate html". The resulting HTML will contain your image links.

BTW, you might want to use the Contact Us form on our website (under the Help link) to communicate with customer service, as this will help us to keep better track of your prior messages which sometimes get lost in the shuffle on the forums.

Thanks,

Diana
