I have my own website. I have a premium eBay store which includes their version of SMPro. Vendio inventory management, at present, is monumentally inconvenient. As near as I can tell, all of the features Vendio offers are available to me from eBay or other services I can use at comparable costs and they are easier to use.
What exactly does Vendio offer that is unique and worth the price? I really want to know because I'm busy gearing up for Christmas sales and cancelling Vendio strikes me as a good way to begin optimizing my business.
We will be coming out with a more robust inventory fairly soon -- please check the announcement for details on this feature. We realize the current set up for inventory is not optimal when doing lots of sales. We are certain you will like the new inventory feature.
You can do all of your auction management in one place here. We have cheaper image hosting, Sales Manager Pro at no extra charge, fully customizable templates (you can even upload your own backgrounds) and an extensive post sale management feature. If you are experiencing trouble with any of our services, please let us know. We would like to resolve any problems you are having so you can see the true benefit of our services.

Vendio's image hosting is indeed cheaper than eBay's; however, all of my images are already hosted elsewhere at no additional charge to me so the only need for hosting duplicates on Vendio is in order to use Vendio's SMPro. The only other use would be for hosting images I produce myself and I'm not doing any of that at the moment.
For inventory management, I'm very likely to begin using Inventory Source. With the click of one button I can instantly stock my website with thousands of products from my dropshippers. With the click of another button I can post hundreds of items to eBay, all with no tedious data entry by me.
Configured the way I'll most likely use it, Inventory Source will be expensive, about $150 per month; however, paying an employee to do the same thing would probably cost me $1,000 per month, more or less.
To compare apples to apples, if I only paid for $50 or so per month of Inventory Source's services, as I pay Vendio, I'd still be getting far more features and more convenient service.
I'm fairly certain that Vendio's new 'robust' inventory management program will still fall short of my needs and equally certain that Vendio will charge a 'robust' fee to use it; however, I'll take a look at it and make comparisons whenever it's available. Is "Soon" a registered trademark of Vendio?
I am sorry we cannot give an exact date as to when the new inventory system is going to be available. Please continue to check the announcements forum for more updates.
