I am trying to find out if there is anything left I can do. I have been using SMP for the past 2 years or so. Up until a few days ago SMP worked if I closed every program including screensavers, Zone Alarm etc, Now the program opens but when I click on "new auction" all shuts down with an error message saying that I should shut down any other programs and try again. I have a PII, 256 MG.
Please try uninstalling/reinstalling Pro, then trying to create a new listing again. If you continue to get errors, please let us know -- you may need to download a new copy as the one you have could be corrupted.
I have done that 3x already. After downloading all my old batches are still there. If I get rid of that will it help? If so how do I find where they are? You can probably tell that I am not a computer expert!

Hi Elaine,
The old batches wouldn't factor into it -- the fact that they are there just means when you downloaded the new copy you installed it into the same directory your previous copies had been.
Did you recently change anything about your system?
If you want to remove them, go to Program Files in your C-drive and locate your Vendio (or AuctionWatch) directory folder. Inside there is a batches folder -- thats where all old batches should be.

Hi Elaine,
Just in case you are still having trouble using SM Pro:
1. Please go to the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the critical updates and Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have done all that already, critical updates, visual, uninstall, reinstall. Still doesn't work. I have always had trouble with SMP after awhile. IT would work perfectly then just seem to use up more and more memory. At first I just shut down Word, then it was Word and Zone Alarm, then the screen saver etc. I would reboot before using SMP and not connect to the DSL until the auctions were ready. I ran out of things to give up. Since Sunday I have been using Turbo Lister and except for one little quirk it's been great.

I have been using Turbo lister for the past week and so far it's been pretty good but I like Vendio better for images. When I try to use my Vendio images I get the message that I have to put in the path. Where would I get that information so I can utilize the images?
